Household pests are a nightmare. Ants trailing your walls and roaches running free are not just unsightly but also a threat to your health, especially if you have kids at home. Termites can destroy your perfectly functional, favorite piece of furniture and eat up the books, magazines and papers you have been keeping for so long. Rats? Well, they are just plain disgusting… there’s no need to say more.

Before you find yourself in the “land of no return” where you have food, furniture and other belongings destroyed beyond repair; and the only way to get your problems solved is to call the pest busters – it is a good thing to actually nip the problem in the bud, or better yet, don’t even let it shrout!

The best way to prevent pest infestation is cleanliness. Always keep your home clean, sweep up the floors regularly. Immediately clean up spills and soiled floors with soap and water. Have adequate trash bins around; do not leave your trash cans exposed, always keep the lid on. Emptying out the trash is of huge importance.

Try not to eat and leave crumbs just about anywhere in your house. Do not leave food simply lying around; keep your leftovers in sealed containers.

Keep your home in check. Take a look at nooks and crannies for signs of pest infestation. Rearrange books and papers periodically to keep termites from settling in.
